Amity Foundation released a summary of its participation in China’s largest annual charity campaign which falls between 7-9 September.

According to a letter of thanks on its official WeChat account on September 14, the foundation united 231 social organizations, 100 enterprises, and 1.04 million netizens across the country to support 366 charity projects during this year's  "99 Giving Day" initiated by Tencent Charity in 2015, covering the areas of community development, environmental protection, and assistance for orphans, students, the elderly, and the disabled.

They made history in terms of resource collection, the strength of the project, and the depth and breadth of the project’s coverage.

At the same time, the foundation also carried out a variety of in-person public welfare activities in many cities, such as Nanjing in Jiangsu, Wuhan in Hubei, and Hengyang in Hunan, attracting participation and support from all walks of life.

In the future, together with more partners, the foundation said they would adhere to moral principles to do public projects in innovative ways and enhance transparency, aiming to maximize the use of every donation.
