China's top political advisor Wang Huning spoke about religion at a recent national-level conference.

At the National Conference of United Front Work Ministers held in Beijing on January 15, Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the chairman of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), delivered a speech, according to Xinhua News Agency.

Affirming the last year’s united front work achievements, Wang proposed to “systematically promote the sinicization of religions in China, strengthen the rule of law in the governance of religious affairs, and maintain the harmony and stability in the religious field” in 2025, the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
