Amity Printing Company Receives 2024 Science and Technology Award at China Print 2025

On May 15, the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China presented the 2023 and 2024 Science and Technology Awards during China Print 2025.

According to the faith-based Nanjing Amity Printing Company, 41 projects were recognized with the Science and Technology Awards of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China for 2023 and 2024. Amity Printing was among the five second-prize winners for 2024.

The Science and Technology Award of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China is a social science and technology honor established by the national regulations. It is applied for, reviewed, approved, and filed with the National Office for Science and Technology Awards. Since 2018, the award has been held for seven consecutive years, recognizing 163 outstanding projects.

Founded in 1988 in Jiangning District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Amity Printing Company is a joint venture between the Amity Foundation and the United Bible Societies. It is the main Bible printing base in China and ranks among the world's largest Bible printing facilities. Amity Printing provides book and publication production services to clients in 158 countries and regions across five continents. Its product portfolio includes dictionaries, textbooks, literary classics, religious texts, and other high-quality publications in 270 languages. Throughout the year, the company printed approximately 11.48 million copies of the Bible and produced seven new editions for CCC&TSPM. Furthermore, Amity launched its first collaborations with the Chad Bible Society and six Bible Societies in South Asia, printing 57,500 Bibles for distribution in Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia.
