Local Churches in China Serve Students Who Are Taking "Gaokao"

More than 900 million students are taking the 2016 Gaokao exam, or knowns as the national college entrance examination,on June 7 and 8 across China. Local churches in China serve high school graduates who are taking the "Gaokao" by praying for them or opening their church for the takers to rest during the break.

The Gospel Church and Maoying Christian Church in Zhoukou, Henan have set up voluntary service stations to provide free bottled mineral water for the students. 

"Pray that God may bestow peace and bless the students all over the world to realize all their wishes and succeed in the exam!  Shenqiu Maoying Christian Church in Zhoukou is in action..." Says Rev. Ma Xin from the Gospel Church on wechat, sharing the photos that record the church staff serving the takers in different places.

Besides, Mochou Lu Church in Nanjing allows the students' parents to take a break in the church, offering free water during the Gaokao.

Located near a middle school in  Jinjiang,Fujian, Anhai Church also opens an underground garage that has 80 parking spaces to the students'parents.What's more,it supplies hot water,resting rooms,reception service by the volunteers and counselling service by the pastoral staff. During the Gaokao, the church prays for the students to be successful in the national exam in the morning prayer meeting.

Guangxiang Church near another middle school in Fuzhou is moving on - providing free cold tea and lounge for the parents.
