"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions."(Matthew 24:45-47)

Short and chubby Elder Hu Junling, the chairman and president of Changge CCC&TSPM of Henan Province, is one of ten million of Chinese female Christians currently in the country. However, through her, God did something extraordinary in the city.

Seven years ago, the former chairman of the local Christian administration handed the local church over to her who was the most junior successor among the pastors at the end of his life.

However, what was entrusted to her was not a good job but a church in shambles - the door of the central church was ragged, surrounding walls were very low and some looked as "if even a fox climbed up on it" (Nehemiah 4:3).

"Ling, I give the church of God to you. You must manage it well." Hu recalled the words of her deceased predecessor, and continued, "Every time I think of this, I remember the former-elder's eyes were filled with tears, telling myself in my heart never to disappoint the expectation of God and him."

"Female Nehemiah" raised up by God

God raised up a "female Nehemiah" in Changge, who repaired the dwelling of God.

When she assumed the post in the early time, rare people had a good prospect regarding her. Furthermore, in the whole Xuchang area, the prefecture-level city that controls Changge, no one had hope for the church in Changge, commenting it as a "spiritual desert where even a needle juniper never grows".

Hu knew that the power to change the church was more than men and wisdom but depending on the God's spirit. So she called on all the believers of the city to pray for the church's revival; meanwhile, raised money by all means.

Eventually, she transformed the shabby church into a contemporary one with the collected fund worth millions. Later, the church walked into a new era of resurgence and became a "spiritual oasis".

Currently, the central church has a Sunday attendance of more than a thousand, with the rising number of people who attend the Sunday services for the past seven years.

In addition, she founded a department for social service and a home for the aged for the church to serve the society.

"Country Ezra" raised up by God

For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel. (Ezra 7:10 )

During the church's construction, she foresaw that the church revival depends on the spiritual knowledge it will teach instead of a beautiful or multi-functional church building.

Her efforts to develop talents extensively have resulted in that instead of having previously unprofessional preachers, the local church now has more than 30 seminary graduates and a professional mission team consisting of about ten musical instrument players.

Currently, the church in Changge is regarded as the key church in the Xuchang area. The central church also opens training courses for church volunteers, as well as instrument and vocal music trainings.

"Chinese Margaret Thatcher" in the church

Hu is also the "Margaret Thatcher" in the church. Many people claim that she is strictly impartial and sometimes, ruthless.

It is also known that she is actually a woman of principles, who never tolerates the action of breaking the bottom line.
