Meihekou CC&TSPM in Jilin organized a training course for pastoral staff from June 21 to 25, with more than 40 pastors and elders attending.
At the opening ceremony, Rev. Zhang Pengfei, chairman and president of Meihekou Municipal CC&TSPM, encouraged all the students to cherish this precious opportunity to improve their spiritual life, management level, and academic accomplishments. They were emboldened to gain something useful in the training and apply what they had learned.
Five lectures, "The Character of a Leader", "Being a Worker of Spiritual Power", "Servant of God", "Church Destroyer and Planter" and "Submission to Authority", were respectively given by Rev. Ren Dazhong, chairman and president of Jilin CC&TSPM, Rev. Hao Yunli, president of Jilin Bible School, and three other pastors. Explaining the profound topics in simple language, they brought a learning feast to attendees.
In her lecture, Rev. Ren Dazhong emphasized that clerical personnel should strengthen theological thought construction and deepen the attainments of theological doctrine to resist heresy and foreign infiltration, and maintain the stability of the church and society.
