Dr. Victoria Kwok, general-secretary and director of Bible translation in the Chinese Bible International, passed away on July 6, with her memorial service to be held at St. Andrew’s Church on August 28.
After completing the Master of Christian Studies (MCS) at the China Graduate School of Theology, Kwok obtained a master's degree in theology and a doctorate of philosophy at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Involved in various ministries, she began to serve as the general secretary and director of Bible translation in the Chinese Bible International in 2016 and the deputy chairman of the Board of Association of Christian Publishers from 2020 till death. At the same time, she was also a guest lecturer in the Bachelor and Diploma of Lay Theological Education at Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary.
Chinese Bible International and Association of Christian Publisher both posted messages to express their condolences and gratitude to Dr. Kwok for her service, wishing that the Lord could comfort her family, close friends, and staff workers.
