Recently, Christian organizations from Shanghai City, Shanxi, Jiangxi, and Guangdong provinces donated money and materials to the disaster area after the earthquake hit Gansu and Qinghai.

According to Shanghai Municipal CC&TSPM, in collaboration with the CC&TSPMs in distinct districts, two million yuan have been contributed to the charity association in Jishishan Bonan-Dongxiang-Salar Autonomous County so far. The Shanghai Agape Foundation donated 100,000 yuan to the Shanghai Charity Foundation for disaster relief in Gansu and other earthquake-hit regions.

As of December 23, CC&TSPMs at the city level in Shandong Province had donated a total of 1.144 million yuan to the earthquake-stricken areas, reported Shandong CC&TSPM.

After the earthquake, Jiangxi Provincial CC&TSPM and its affiliated municipal CC&TSPMs have contributed a total of 121,600 yuan to the earthquake-stricken areas in Jishishan, Gansu, according to Jiangxi CC&TSPM.

On December 25, Shamian Church in Guangzhou, Guangdong, specially prayed for the victims in the disaster area during its Christmas sacred music meeting, with all the devotion gathered and sent for post-earthquake reconstruction, said Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPM.

Chang Jianlan, president of the Gansu Province Chamber of Commerce in Linfen City, Shanxi Province, immediately called on the world of business to donate to the disaster-stricken areas. She took the lead and donated 5,000 yuan, later raising a total of 34,700 yuan to purchase quilts, coats, thermal kettles, cups, kettles, electric heaters, and heating pads for the earthquake-ravaged regions on December 21st.

Ms. Chang was born into a poor family in Dingxi, Gansu Province. Her father suffered from appendicitis when she was little, but he couldn't afford medical treatment. He later received healing from God and started preaching in the area, where he converted over 600 people. Ms. Chang’s education level is limited to the second grade of elementary school due to a lack of money, but by relying on God, she started her business from scratch with 5,000 yuan and six people. Among five cities in Gansu, Shaanxi, and Shanxi provinces, she established a construction company with more than 800 people, carrying out many important projects. During COVID-19, when the entire industry was dismal, she contracted projects worth hundreds of millions of yuan through fasting and prayer. Since being elected president of the Gansu Province Chamber of Commerce in Linfen, Shanxi, in 2017, she has connected with many state-owned enterprises and engaged in social welfare.
