On November 28, over 20 Christians from Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province, attended activities promoting awareness for World AIDS Day.
Members of the Pingxiang Christian Volunteer Service Team distributed more than 500 AIDS awareness leaflets and around 200 AIDS prevention-themed souvenirs on Nanzheng Street, Pingxiang City. They also provided rapid AIDS testing, screenings, and consultations on HIV prevention, as reported by Jiangxi CC&TSPM.
World AIDS Day, observed on December 1, marks its 37th anniversary in 2024 with the theme of "Take the Rights Path: My Health, My Right!" This year's theme for China's campaign is "Social Co-governance, End AIDS, Share Health." The initiative aims to mobilize governments, departments, organizations, and individuals to take responsibility for HIV prevention and work together toward the goal of ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.
