Recently, 17 pastors and two elders were ordained in Beijing, Tianjin cities, and Zhejiang Province, bolstering the local pastoral teams.
On December 29, Beijing CC&TSPM ordained Wang Qiong, a church worker from Gospel Church in Daxing District, and Luo Chengzan, a pastoral staff member from Yanjing Theological Seminary, as pastors during a ceremony at Chongwenmen Church, reported the host. Rev. Wu Weiqing, chairperson of Beijing TSPM, delivered a sermon titled "Preaching the Word." Rev. Liu Cuimin, president of Beijing CC, encouraged the newly ordained pastors to embody a love for the country and the church, remain faithful in their pastoral duties, and serve as role models for believers in faith and daily life.
On December 21, the Zhejiang Provincial Ordination Group hosted an ordination ceremony at Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou City, ordaining seven male pastors, two female pastors, one male elder, and one female elder, said the hosting church. The ceremony was attended by approximately 500 people, including pastoral workers, representatives of believers, and church members.
According to CCC&TSPM, Tianjin CC&TSPM conducted its 13th ordination ceremony on December 15 at the centennial Cangmenkou Churchy, ordaining six ministers as pastors, with the attendance of nearly 500 pastoral workers and believers. During the ceremony, Rev. Mao Yajun, chairperson of Tianjin TSPM, delivered a message based on John 21:15–23, centered on the theme "Follow Me." He urged the pastoral staff to embrace the sacredness of their calling, remain steadfast in upholding biblical truth, and serve faithfully throughout their lives.
