On the evening of December 31, 2024, over 300 believers at a church in Zhejiang began with hymns for the 2024-2025 New Year’s Eve prayer meeting, themed “Here Am I, Send Me,” while thousands of Christians from diverse locations participated in the event online.
The gathering at Ningbo Centennial Church featured a two-part sharing session, reported the church. The first part, “Here Am I,” reflected on the 2024 annual theme of “Ignite Prayer Fire.” The second part, “Send Me,” responded to the 2025 theme, “Be Disciples of the Lord, Proclaim the Gospel Far and Wide.” Guided by the pastoral team, believers were moved by grace and made fresh commitments in prayer: “Here Am I, Send Me!”
The second half of the prayer meeting began with worship songs, followed by two videos. These videos shared the stories of missionaries who fully devoted themselves to being sent to China to spread the gospel. Even today, God continues to call His children: “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
Then, the ministry staff led congregants in praying for family evangelism and the nation, as well as for living as witnesses to Christ in the workplace.
