On March 14, Huai'en Church in Taibai Lake New Area, Jining City, Shandong Province, held a dedication ceremony for its new construction.
According to the Jining Christian Council, attendees included representatives from various levels of CC&TSPMs across the city, pastoral workers, believers, local government officials, and local community leaders.
During the ceremony, Rev. Tang Li, a member of the standing committee of the Municipal CPPCC, head of the church ministry at Huangjia Street Church in Rencheng District, and head of Huai'en Church, delivered a sermon on the theme "I Love the Church, God's House."
Following the sermon, attendees watched a video showcasing the church's journey from construction to decoration and eventual use. Rev. Tang Li then provided an overview of the church's background, construction process, and design concept, highlighting how its decor integrates traditional Chinese culture, Christian liturgical theology, and Christian aesthetics, reflecting a unique approach to the sinicization of Christianity.
Afterward, Mr. Zhang Hongjun, an official from the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, and Rev. Tang Li jointly unveiled Huai'en Church.
Following the ceremony, a thanksgiving worship service was held. Elder Li Jianhua, deputy director and vice president of the municipal CC&TSPM, delivered a sermon on the theme "Blessed Life." Additionally, a minister from Huangjia Street Church shared messages titled "Reflecting on God's Love and the True Meaning of Life" and "The Worship of Pilgrims on the Journey to Heaven."
