On April 23, Yulin Municipal CC&TSPM in Guangxi Province announced an open recruitment for five professional preachers.
The positions include two preachers for the local Gospel Church, which is affiliated with the municipal CC&TSPM's affiliated church, one preacher for the municipal CC&TSPM, and two preachers for other churches or meeting points across the city.
According to the announcement, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Chinese Christian theology. Recent graduates are preferred. The age requirement is between 31 and 39, with the extension to 41 for exceptional applicants. Candidates must comply with the law, demonstrate patriotism and devotion to the church, and maintain a good reputation within and outside the Christian community.
The primary responsibilities involve supporting the church and the municipal CC&TSPM in teaching and pastoral ministries. Theology graduates will undergo a one-year internship, while candidates with prior ministry experience will serve a six-month probationary period.
Christianity was introduced to Yulin over a century ago, and the city now has more than ten established churches and activity venues.
