On May 22, Shandong Theological Seminary hosted an alumni symposium of the 2013 Volunteer Training Class.

According to Shandong CC&TSPM, during the symposium, alumni reviwed their ministry experiences over the past decade, shared their practical explorations, and discussed challenges faced by grassroots churches. They also looked forward to more opportunities to participate in training events organized by Shandong CC&TSPM.

Rev. Dong Meiqin expressed gratitude for the alumni's steadfast care and support for the seminary's mission over the years. She affirmed that the Shandong CC&TSPM will continue to promote various training programs aimed at enhancing the standardized management of grassroots churches..

According to CCC&TSPM, Shandong Theological Seminary, established in 1987 by Shandong CC&TSPM, offers a four-year undergraduate program, a three-year diploma program, and a one-year volunteer training program. In addition to general and specialized courses, the seminary provides contextualized classes tailored to the needs of the Christian community in Shandong, such as social work courses (e.g., social work theory, care for the elderly and disabled) and arts courses (e.g., calligraphy, folk music).

The seminary hosts "Qilu Forum," a platform under the Qilu Theological Research Center, which fosters biblical text studies through talks and discussions, shaping Chinese theological thought and striving to build a Qilu theological system that is both accessible and relevant to contemporary society.

Currently, the seminary has over 220 enrolled students and has graduated more than 1,800 individuals, the majority of whom have returned to serve in their respective local churches.
