On November 22, the Yage (Song of Solomon) Fellowship of Yunnan Trinity International Church hosted a matchmaking event for single Christians, drawing more than 50 participants.
According to the church, Rev. Li Min, the church's deputy director, encouraged attendees by sharing the biblical story of Isaac and Rebekah, urging them to prepare their hearts in Christ and trust that God will bring the right partner into their lives in His time.
The event featured small-group activities, during which Preacher Yu Sheng guided participants through interactive games and an outdoor meal, creating opportunities for deeper connection among single believers.
At the conclusion of the event, the church offered gifts and blessings to all participants.
Established by the China Inland Mission in 1894 on Wucheng Road in Kunming, the church experienced significant challenges and reconstruction in the early 20th century, eventually reopening in 1904. In 1963, it became the headquarters of Yunnan Provincial CC&TSPM. The church was closed during the Cultural Revolution but resumed services in 1984. In 1997, the original building was demolished due to road expansion. A new church was built on Renmin Middle Road, and a dedication service was held on December 12, 2004, marking its renaming as "Trinity International Church." The new premises span approximately 1.8 mu, with a total floor area of 4,018 square meters.
