When it comes to a relationship, especially when we are still young, we try hard to look and read it up online or maybe hear from someone older than us, someone who is more experienced in love. But, we can definitely go to the Bible for guidance.
The Holy Scripture provides us with multiple verses to inspire us and teach us what young love is.
Song of Songs 8:4 "Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires."
Do not force love. As the song goes, "don't hurry love oh, you just have to wait." According to the Bible, the perfect time will come for us to find love and love finds us.
1 John 4:8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
You can't love if you did not know that someone who is so powerful is loving you so much that He doesn't want to hurt you and He only wants the best for you.
3. Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
Other people might say young love or relationship is not that serious but take note that love blossoms when we are born on this Earth and because of love, we are born and saved.
1 John 4: 18 "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."
You know it is true and perfect love when you know you are not scared anymore. You are braver because of love. Shout it to the world that God loves us and be brave He loves us.
