Charity Gala to mark the closing ceremony of Charity Week held in Beijing Chongwenmen Church

On the evening of Sep. 19th, Beijing Chongwenmen Church holds a charity gala to mark the closing ceremony of the church charity week.
The charity gala invited Pastor Yang Jianli delivering a speech. Pastor Yang explained that the charity week's theme "Love above the clouds" is actually the light from God. All the world keen to charity, and yet people see a lot of tears. Jesus Christ come to this world with full of love, to heal the sick, preaching the Gospel, and died on the cross for the SINS of human. Therefore, the church has been advocating charity.
Subsequently, Chongwenmen church reported the ministry during the week of September 13 to 19th. The charity began with the sharing by Senior Pastor Liu Cuimin.
Sister Ma Yuping, member of a fellowship which is "love your neighbor ministry", shared her impressions on a nursing home in Beijing. She said that a lot of people are met for the first time, but there are no strange feeling, like family members. While bringing the old people present, they also got a lot of love from the senior people.
The gala host Zhang Chuhui reported their fellowship ministry, Joy in candlelight fellowship. On Sept.14 and 15th the fellowship members repeated visited the old man, the patient of long illness cannot provide for oneself, including a frozen person Wang Jia, who cannot move but only roll his eyes, but has already read off two books, and completed a lot of process design with a special computer. They also helped two sisters severely disabled, who did not went to college, but learned to write, became members of the writers' association of Heilongjiang.
Sister Cao Yinqiao gave her witness during the gala. She was helped when her mother's body was very weak, then died in June 2014. After that, she liked to share to others, and join in candlelight fellowship. Their visit courage the people facing disease.
The church held "mental state and behavior of old age" theme lectures on Sept.17. Sister Huang Zhiling gave the lecture. With the understanding of the old age normal psychological behavior characteristics, they began to use these knowledge in getting along with their mothers.
On September 18, industry and commerce fellowship held community health lecture. Sister Li Men, involved for the first time, found that the community residents need the Gospel very much.
In recent years, Chongwenmen church also supports for 39 college, middle school and primary school students to go to school. It is counted to be more than a dozen graduate students, and a lot of families are in need.
LiuCuiMin, senior pastor of the church, attend the charity gala and shared some information. "Why church constantly advocate philanthropy? Because God is love and goodness." She asked and answered. She hopes every children have a kind heart. Charity is the Lord's command, God's will, and also the tradition of the church. She hopes that every Christian has a charitable heart.
Finally, the charity gala also conducted on-site donation, and Pastor LiuCuiMin's prayer conclude the gala.
