Jiangsu Wujiang Church Celebrates the 20th Anni of Foundation

On Nov. 27, Jiangsu Wujiang Church held its 20th Anniversary Celebration and more than 800 people attended it. Rev. Yang Bingrong, the President of Wujiang CCC&TSPM, shared the 20-year history of Wujiang Church in the four aspects: the number of believers, the church income, talent development and ministry.

Yang said the number of believers has reached more than 6000, 10 times of the number 500 in 1995. Due to the increasing number, Wujiang Church has carried out Andrew Voluntary Training, Cadr  Training, Faith Training to train the co-workers and provided students to seminaries like Nanjing Union Theological Seminary and Jiangsu Theological Seminary.

To meet the needs of believers at different ages and working in different fields, Wujiang Church has set up fellowships in different district, such as Youth Fellowship, Jabez International Business Fellowship, Couple Fellowship, etc. Teams like Xueqin Choir, Brass Musical Band and Jehoshaphat Worship Band have been founded.

He told that one of its features in management is that Wujiang Church has formed a network management pattern since beginning to build network management in 2001. 

Besides, it helped believers with financial difficulties and gave the donation to the victims in the earthquakes of Sichuan and others disasters. It's worth mentioning that Canaan Home for the Aged, founded in 2002, as a window to the gospel, show care to the senior.

Some related officials of Administrative Bureau for Religious Affairs of Wujiang attended the ceremony. Yu Guohua, the Director, gave the congratulation and best wishes to Wujiang Church.

The thanksgiving ceremony ended with the benediction of Rev. Tang Linxiong of Shanghai Jiexin Church.
