The Linfen Church of Shanxi Province held a thanksgiving service to close its 10-day Lunar January training class on Febuary 25, 2017. It was attended by 255 church staff who attended the training program and 234 co-workers and believers from different counties and cities who didn't finish the class.
According to the church's blog, the training included a praise meeting with hymns, and a preaching contest on the theme of church shepherding titled "Witness the Gospel and Walk with God" in addition to classes. 17 workers shared their works, such as "How to Preach," "Seek Humility," "Update One's Life," "Submit Yourself," "Pleasing God," "Worship and Serve," "Live Out," "Look at faith through Naomi," and more.
Elder Chen Li, the assistant director of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee of Yaodu District in Linfen, stated in this year's work arrangement report, the church encouraged believers and pastoral workers to practice the concept of "Witness the Gospel and Walk with God." The church should also refine, share, and take this theme further.
