House-Church-Turned-Three-self-Gathering Holds Summer Retreat
By Wuxi International Church, July 17, 2018 02:07 AM
Waixiadian Gathering, a former house church that has become a registered gathering subordinate to Wuxi International Christian Church, held a summer retreat from July 6 to 8, 2018. More than 200 people attended it.
Since the beginning of the year, the pastoral staff and volunteer preachers of Wuxi International Church preach sermons in the gathering in the first week of every month.
The church also directs the gathering to learn the advised regulations on religious affairs that came to force in February 2018 and to formalise the liturgy and retreat and service application.
During the retreats, Rev. An Xiaohui, vice-president of the Jiangsu CCC, and Rev. Lv Genxiang, general secretary of the Shenyang TSPM of Yancheng, guided the congregation to break the denominational barriers.
