Since early June of this year, Shenyang Hunhebao Church has funded over 220,000 yuan for community environmental reform.
The project aims at improving the roads, squares, gardens, and backdrop walls to front doors of two local communities, according to the church's official website. It also has installed two ping pong tables in a public square.
In October 2016, the church donated one thousand garments including over 700 new children's clothes to one of the communities as one of its social service efforts.
In recent years, the church holds an annual bazaar that collects clothes and freight charges for poor people in remote areas. It also funds a school and some poor undergraduates.
