Liaoning Century-old Church Holds Service on Holy Tuesday
By CCD contributor: Wu Zhongyi, April 17, 2019 09:04 AM
Today is Holy Tuesday, the busiest day of Jesus when he gave his last teaching to the disciples and his people from early morning until late night.
In the century-old Dalian Yuguang Street Church, Rev. Zhang Lingfeng led the congregation to read a series of teachings given by the Lord Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew.
He asked believers to meditate Jesus' busiest day. His word guided and comforted those who were hungry and rebuked and hit back hard on those who deliberately made things difficult for others.
Since the time has come, nobody can hinder the Lord from preaching the good news of the kingdom. We should come to the Lord, humbly hear his teachings, and learn from the lesson of three times of denial of Jesus by the Apostle Peter. We should reflect on ourselves and become disciples who follow and please the Lord.
The church will hold daily meetings with different themes in the following days of the Holy Week.
