From May 20 to 25, 2019, Beijing Yanqing Church will hold the fourth "Bible Reading Week" campaign. The reading content will cover ten books of the Old Testament and the entire New Testament.
On the occasion of the centenary of the Chinese Union Version (CUV) published in 1919, the church has designated the theme of the coming reading week as "A Century of CUV, Holy Word Endures Forever - Yanqing Church Heavenly Bread Reading Week". The reading time will start from 8 a.m. to 22:00 p.m, with two hours rest in between.
In the first two reading events, the church will spend ten days reading through the entire Bible.
The church's first Bible reading event was begun in November of 2016 and the second in May of 2017. The participants included young people in their early 20s to seniors in their 80s.
