On May 9, 2019, the Donghe District Christian Council & Three-self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) of Baotou, Inner Mongolia held a lecture concerning cult teachings.

Recently cults have had a serious impact on the district, in particular its connection with foreign hostile forces, according to Baotou CC&TSPM.

Rev. Wang Xiaozhen, chairman of the board of the local anti-cult association, addressed a lecture entitled, "Proper Faith and Honest Deeds--Making Positive Christian Contributions to the Anti-Cult Cause(反邪教事业").

He said that a high qualified religious team that is social responsible and has a scientific mindset should be established to fight cults.

He also shared three solutions: the reinforcement of theological development, a talent team, and further theological education.
