According to the liturgical year, Holy Week is the week before Easter.

Normally the week is divided into  Palm Sunday, Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday, Holy Wednesday, Maundy  Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday.

Holy Tuesday is the busiest day of Jesus, when he gave his last teaching to the disciples and his people from early morning until late at night.

He taught in percepts and parables, meanwhile he debated and fought back against Pharisees, Herodians, Sadducees and experts in the law.

You can find his last teaching in the temple on Holy Tuesday in Matthew 21:23-25:46.

It includes: the Parable of the Two Sons, the Parable of the Tenants, the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, the issue on paying taxes to Caesar, The Resurrection and Marriage, Woes to the teachers of the law and Pharisees, the Sign of  His Second Coming, the Parable of the Ten Virgins, the Parable of the Talents and the Last Judgement.

Churches share the message mainly around these teachings on Holy Tuesday.

A pastor teaches the Parable of the Tenants and tells his congregation to keep their hearts and to glorify the Lord. He says what Christians are in possession of is not gained by their efforts but God's grace.

God entrusts grace to us , hoping us become  faithful stewards and channels of blessings.

Rev. Liu Haibo of Beijing Fengtai Church once shared the seven woes Jesus said to Pharisees.

Jesus pointed out that Pharisees are hypocrites who don't understand the meaning of the law although they strictly obey the rules and law in the Old Testament, stressing only on the letters.

He advises that believers should obey the spirit of the law with a humble and desiring-truth attitude and walk on the right way.

Rev. Zhang Wenzhe of Beijing Congwenmen Church ever talked about the message on the end time, teaching members how to prepare for His second coming.

He said that many Christians still fear the end times because they haven't prepared well.

He hoped members could pursue on the way to know God and identify God's will as well as avoid the wrong misconception that their good deeds in their eyes are in fact against God's will.

How should Christians observe this day?

Another pastor shares his view that Christians should respond with spirit, heart and body.A sleepy spirit can't hear the Lord's voice only the spiritual man can. Put God's word in your heart and meditate on them  like a tree is planted by streams of water.  As for the body, it matters little your Biblical knowledge but your deeds. "Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man..." (Matthew 7:24)
