Last month, a male book club was started by the youth fellowship of Huangshan Tunxi Church, Anhui. The members read The Father Connection, written by Josh McDowell, twice a month.

The fourth session of the club was held on August 17, 2017, themed on the holiness of fathers. The participants shared their views in groups on how to lead children to stay holy. Some brothers who seldom attended Friday meetings gradually joined in the club.

One of the members said,"When we do this, our children will have power to resist pressure from their friends, society, and their own hormones, to refrain from premarital sex. They will be better equipped and form a healthy and spiritual view of sex, more likely to avoid heartache and tragedies resulting from unwise decisions in sex. They will prepare better (before marriage) and be faithful to their husbands and wives in marriage."

Meanwhile, a female book club has also been launched. The sisters study the book Her Name Is Woman by Gien Karssen.
