On August 5, 2019, Dunhua Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) held a skillful training session for church volunteers.

In the sermon, Rev. Wang Daiyu, chairman of Dunhua CC&TSPM, exhorted the participants to be the light and salt of the world rather than being separate from the world. Like Samuel Pollard and Taylor Hudson, Christians should treat other people with love and service.

A total of 123 core volunteers from 59 local social service stations established by the Dunhua CC&TSPM attended the training session. The training was a follow-up event in a series of activities organized by state-sanctioned Christian organizations; the preceding event was the "Social Service Open Day" during the previous month of July, marked by free clinic access.

Zhang Li, a clergyman from the Guandi campus of Dunhua Guangming Church, shared the idea that new social service events should be regularly carried out to attract people; moreover, church resources could be further exploited to benefit more people.

In addition, professionals explained how to measure blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The students participated in onsite operations.
