At 7:30 pm on Monday, the Baoji Dawn Church continued its daily online prayer meeting during this year's Passion Week.

It started with a prayer for the participants as well as for control of the coronavirus. "Dear Lord, we pray to God for the effective control of the pandemic and healing as the virus spreads throughout the world. We know that only when you grant mercy and grace can all of humankind have peace! We continue to pray that you would stop your anger, for we know you are more sad and sorrowful than anybody because everyone is made in your image and pattern. You do not wish people to be punished for their sins, but you want everyone to repent, to repent again, and get rid of evil."

Then Pastor Wang shared that the second day of Holy Week is traditionally called the Day of Authority, the day that Jesus cleansed the temple of moneychangers. He entered the temple court and overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. He said to them, "My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it 'a den of robbers'."

Pastor Wang said Jesus' cleansing the temple warned us not to be obstacles to the gospel but be open to true repentance.

The message showed that the temple was a place of holiness, solemnity, and cleanliness; a place where God's servants preached sermons and believers read the Bible, prayed and served God.

After the message, some believers presented four hymns through the Internet.

The meeting ended with a benediction.
