On May 7, 2020, the Longgang Zhu'en Church in Zhejiang Province updated its “Voice of the Pastor” WeChat account.

They quote from Exodus 20: 7, a passage that exhorts brothers and sisters to honor God. This passage states: “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.”

The church has shared information with the brothers and sisters in this way for two months. Beginning on March 3, the church started broadcasting the "Voice of the Pastor" on their WeChat account. The pastoral staff share details every day to help brothers and sisters build a family altar. The church requires believers to set up a family altar in their homes where they can offer prayers for the family, for those suffering from the epidemic, and for the spread of the gospel. The hope is that this kind of worship, praise and prayers will be as sweet incense offered to the Lord.

"Everyone is a priest, and every home is an altar! In this special period, not only can we personally worship God, but we also want to build a family altar. In this way, our family can be a witness to the Lord and a blessing for many people, so as to influence the world during these times!” This is a quote from instructions given on family worship.

The family worship lasts 45 minutes, including 10 minutes of singing prayers, 10 minutes of sharing information, 15 minutes of communication, and the last 10 minutes of singing prayers. In this way, participants can pray for the epidemic, our churches, our family and other needs.
