On September 10, 2020, the leaders of the Jilin Provincial CC&TSPM discussed arrangements for the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Christian Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) and the ordaining of pastors in a meeting.

Rev. Ren Dazhong, the Chairman and President of the Jilin CC&TSPM, divided the province into four districts for the purpose of holding ordination services each district, according to Jilin CC&TSPM. The municipal CC&TSPM of Changchun, Jilin, Yanbian, and Meihekou, are working to complete their preparation for ordinations by the end of this month.

Rev. Hu Yuming, Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Jilin CC&TSPM, explained the commemoration of the "70th Anniversary of the Chinese Christian Three-Self Patriotic Movement." The Jilin CC&TSPM solicited essays beginning in June with the theme, "Sharing Prosperity and Tranquility, and Witnessing the Prosperity of the Country and the Revival of the Church." By the deadline, 90 essays in Chinese and 4 essays in Korean were received. The Jilin CC&TSPM will share the best essays on September 23. Five young co-workers whose essays were selected will read their essays.

The meeting also discussed the "Recommending and Managing  Theological Students of the Jilin CC&TSPM" (revised draft), and decided to expand the scope of soliciting opinions in order to make the recommendation and management more standardized and to better encourage pastoral talent for the church..

At the meeting the leaders also decided to hold the "Jilin CC&TSPM Pastor Recognition Training Course" and the "Jilin Province’s Grass-roots CC&TSPM Full-time Staff Training Course" in October.

Rev. Hao Yunli, the President of the Jilin CC&TSPM Bible School, reported on the preparation for the resumption of the Bible school. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there was a delay in the class for third-year students.
