On the afternoon of November 18, the Kunshan TSPM appointed a teacher named Yin Yong, Sister Ye Qing, and Pastor Peng Yuen to participate in a preaching contest.

It was hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Kunshan Municipal Party Committee and arranged by the Kunshan Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, according to Kunshan Church.

Nine representatives selected by various religious organizations and the Citizens Promotion Association in Kunshan attended the contest. The sermons were to address the theme of increasing the sense of identity of the Chinese nation. After nearly two hours of fierce competition, Pastor Peng Yuen, Teacher Yin Yong, and Sister Ye Qing won the first, second and third prizes respectively, according to the Kunshan Church.

Through this event, we are encouraged to promote the Sinicization of Christianity, to have a heightened sense of identity related to the Chinese nation, to strengthen ethnic unity and to run the Kunshan Church well.
