A pastor was appointed as a deputy senior pastor and administrative director of a church before the national flags in China's eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province.

On November 19, Rev. Kuai Mo solemnly took on the duties of his office, including daily administration work, while putting her hand on the Bible before the national flag in Xiangcheng Church, Suzhou, according to Suzhou CC&TSPM.

Rev. Gu Yuntao, deputy chairman and general secretary of the Suzhou CC&TSPM, read the appointment letter during the ceremony held at the local Xiangcheng Church.

Senior Pastor He Jiemiao, chairman and president of the Suzhou CC&TSPM said the work of the pastoring and administration should be kept separate, and that the division of labor was implemented but the church - God's family was not divided up. Having an administrative director met the requirements of modern society and satisfied the need for careful management within the church.
