Puyi Church and Thanksgiving Church in Zhangpu held their 2020 Christmas celebrations on Sunday, December 13.

Zhangpu County, a large county with a population of 120,000 in Zhangzhou City, China’s southeastern Fujian Province, has seven churches, including five Protestant and two True Jesus Churches.

With Christmas approaching, believers in each church in Zhangpu County are preparing to celebrate Christmas, following the guidelines on COVID-19.

Based on Matthew 1:20-21, Rev. Mai Jianxin in Puyi Church gave a sermon entitled, "The Purpose of the Birth of Jesus".  And Rev. Zhuang Encai from Thanksgiving Church delivered a sermon on the nativity of Jesus Christ, based on John 3:16

In the Puyi Church, a children’s ministry performed "Love My Father", and additional programs were presented by the choir and other fellowship groups.

In the Thanksgiving Church, the choir sang ”Welcome Christmas" and "Jubilation." The Thanksgiving dance team performed "Prairie Children Sing for You" and "Grace River" and Xu Yanhua and his wife presented a recitation of "Christmas Heart".
