Guangxi Church Holds Annual Tea Party for Volunteers, Staff

In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Beihai Church held an annual dinner for staff workers.

On January 8, more than 200 believers who had served in the church many years attended the dinner with 26 tables of food, dressing in festive costumes.

At the Vienna International Hotel in Beihai Beibuwan Square, Rev. Huang Zhengxin shared concerns with the staff who have worked hard in the past year, briefly summarizing the church ministry in 2020 with a grateful heart to the Lord.

Senior Pastor Zhang Yezhong, also the president of the Beihai Christian Council, gave an outlook on the ministry, development, revival, and vision of the church in 2021.

The couples’ fellowship, Bethel Dance Fellowship, Isaac choir, David choir, and a choir in Beihai accent of the church spontaneously performed more than a dozen hymns and dances, including Into the New YearMillennium LoveLittle Hill Town and Hold My Hand.

The tea party is held after Christmas every year to expresses gratitude to the Lord, summarize the ministry, and reward the staff for their hard work in the past year, according to Beihai Church.

In the end, Pastor Zhang brought the staff a special surprise, as it coincided with the forty-first anniversary of the marriage of the pastor and his wife. Walking to the front of the stage, hand in hand, he presented a dance fan as a flower to his wife who smiled from ear to ear.
