In 2020, 45 students from China's northeastern Jilin Province received financial assistance which amounted 86,500 yuan under a student aid program launched by Protestant churches.

Before New Year's Eve, the Songyuan Municipal CC&TSPM held a distribution ceremony of "Heavenly Dew Fund" at the Elim Christian Church in the Ningjiang District and Dongsanjiazi Township Government Conference Room, Qianguo County. Twenty-three students in Songyuan City had been aided, according to Jilin CC&TSPM.

After the New Year, five students and their parents in the urban and rural areas of Dunhua City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, received grants from the Guangming Christian Church in the city.

The CC&TSPMs in Changchun, Tonghua, Baicheng and Siping have also completed the distribution of assistantships.

The "Heavenly Dew Fund" was launched by CCC&TSPM (China Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement) to help needy students in China.
