Tianjin YWCA showed sympathy to the Tianjin Deaf-Children Rehabilitation Center by sending them educational materials and organizing team-building activities on the 37th Teacher’s Day, which falls on September 10th.

To assist the rehabilitation of disabled children, Tianjin YWCA (Young Women Christian Association) donated 232 picture books and 165 sets of teaching aids to the center, worth nearly 7,000 yuan. The teamwork activities let the special education teachers increase vitality and reap joy at their own festival, according to Tianjin YWCA.

Director Li of the center said, "These exquisite and high-quality picture books are very suitable for the children in the center and are of great help to the education of habit formation."

During this activity, the association and the center respectively presented a banner and a thank-you letter to Xu Li, a senior volunteer and psychological counselor of the YMCA, for her free psychological lectures and consultation service for teachers and families of disabled children in the center in the past two years.
