Many Henan churches and a Jiangsu church on September 16 announced the continuation of in-person gatherings.

Renmin Road Church in Zhengzhou, China’s central Henan Province, announced the resumption of gatherings on Thursday and Friday and three Sunday services from September 16, reminding its congregation to book their places on WeChat and come to the church early for the check of their health codes.

Despite experiencing flooding in July and another COVID-19 wave caused by the delta variant, Henan Theological Seminary and other churches in Zhengzhou also would reopen, including Taikang Road Church, Changjiang Road Church, Huozhan Street Church, Yuantian Road Church, Jicheng Road Church, and Zhutun Church.

Huaihai West Road Church in Xuzhou, Jiangsu also issued a notice, stating that it would resume two sessions this Sunday and three next Sunday.
