As local COVID-19 outbreaks subside, churches in four provinces recently announced the continuations of in-person gatherings.

On its official WeChat account, Chi Tao Church in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, last Friday stated the reopening of Chi Tao Church, Qingzhong Church, and Hongdu Church on October 10.

The next day, Jiangsu Road Church, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, and Qingyang Church in Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, said that onsite services would resume on October 10.

On October 8, Xiaoshi Church in Nanjing, Jiangsu, issued a notice about the resumption of gatherings from October 15, according to the “Notice on the Reopening of Religious Activity Venues in an Orderly Manner” published in Jiangsu Province.
