A Zhejiang century-old church in Ningbo resumed their face-to-face Sunday services and communion services, as local COVID-19 outbreaks subsided.

True God Church in Quankou Town, Fenghua District, reopened last Sunday. With onsite gatherings suspended for two months, the church even did not conduct Christmas celebrations last year. During the lockdown period, believers attended online services and meetings.

In the main building of the church, after reading Song of Songs 2: 8-17 and Revelation 19:7, Rev. Jin Ruijuan gave a sermon titled "Seeing Our Relationship With Christ from the Song of Songs".

Following a communion service, the 94-year-old elder Yuan Xiangzhong who served in the church for more than 30 years gave a prayer of blessing.

Founded by a western missionary in 1893, the church belonged to American Baptist Churches USA,  and was named “True God Church in Quankou” in 1916.
