On their official WeChat accounts, one church in Jiangsu and one in Qinghai announced the resumptions of face-to-face services, while a Shanghai church said it would suspend all in-person gatherings due to new Omicron cases.

On March 1, the City One Church in Nantong, Jiangsu, announced it would resume Sunday services and weekday gatherings starting from March 2. After the resumption, churchgoers are required to follow the COVID-19 protocols, including showing their health code and itinerary code, registering, and having their temperature measured. Those who have recently lived in key pandemic areas in China or come from abroad are advised not to attend the gatherings for the time being.

On March 1, the Qinghai Xichuan Church issued a notice, saying that it would reopen from March 5, Saturday, with two Sunday services resumed. Believers are expected to follow personal protection measures and cooperate with the church's prevention and control measures to attend the gatherings.

On March 1, Pu'An Christian Church, located in Shiquan Street, Shanghai, issued a notice, stating that from that day on, all Sunday services and gatherings will be ceased until further notice.

According to Shanghai Daily (shine.cn), No. 33, Ningqiang Road in Shiquan Street, Putuo District has been elevated as a medium risk area.
