A Shanghai Church suspended its renovation work amid rising pandemic infections.

On March 20, Xuhui District CC&TSPM issued a proposal, stating the repair work of Shanghai Community Church would be halted with the construction site being closed. The church will just be keeping guards on duty, who must undergo nucleic acid testing as required by the relevant departments.

Besides attending virtual worship services at home and praying for the end of the pandemic, believers are required to follow personal protection measures, including wearing masks, washing hands, disinfecting, and keeping rooms well-ventilated.

It also reminded Christians to access the testing of COVID-19, get vaccinated, and make contributions to the fight against the virus.
