With the permission of relevant departments, all onsite services and gatherings were restarted in a church in Beijing, which had been locked down since April 23 due to COVID-19.
On its official WeChat account on July 15, Mentougou Church reminded believers from the next day on to attend two Sunday services and weekday gatherings including the prayer and testimony meeting on Wednesday, the Bible study meeting on Friday, and the youth fellowship meeting on Saturday.
It said churchgoers can book their places via WeChat, telephone, or on the spot and that the latter two ways are recommended for senior believers. Worshippers are required to have a green Beijing health code, a negative nucleic acid test report conducted within the previous 72 hours, and no travel history in overseas or high-risk areas within the past 14 days.
