A church in northeast China's Liaoning Province has a 13-year-old fellowship of 40 to 50 deaf people, the Heart Spring Deaf Fellowship in Xingsheng Christian Church in Tiexi District of Anshan, the steel city of China.

On the morning of August 14, 2022, Xingsheng Church in Liaoning Province held the sacrament of baptism and the Holy Communion. Seventy people and another three from the Deaf Fellowship were baptized. The service workers preached the significance of Holy Communion and baptism in sign language on the stage.

The Deaf fellowship was established in June 2009. Sister Jiang Xiuying said that the fellowship benefited from the help and guidance of Pastor Ming Dasheng of Wanfang Deaf Church in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Pastor Wang Shengjun who graduated from Northeast Theological Seminary said, since its establishment, the church allocated a dedicated room for the deaf fellowship as a meeting place. The fellowship only had four believers at first, and now at least 30 would come to church on Sunday for the party. During Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other major festivals, the participants could be as many as 80-90 believers.

Over the course of more than ten years of deaf ministry, there has been one non-deaf sign language co-worker, three deaf sign language preachers, and a total of nine co-workers.
