Church leaders and believers in east China’s Jiangsu Province carried out commemorative activities and a tree-planting event.
On March 11, the day before the 45th Arbor Day in China, Changzhou Municipal CC&TSPM conducted a tree planting activity at Hengshanqiao Church in Changzhou Economic Development Zone, which was attended by more than 60 persons, including believers, volunteers, and the people in charge of gathering sites directly under the municipal CC&TSPM.
Later, all members were present for a joint service themed "Ode to Spring," offering prayers for safety.
On that day, believers and leaders of meeting points affiliated with the Changzhou CC&TSPM went to the Chengxi Martyrs Cemetery to pay tribute to the martyrs.
They laid wreaths and walked around the monument.
