Jay Chou Sings Kung Fu Panda 3 Theme Song, Soundtrack Album Now Released

Chinese Christian Singer Jay Chou along with Canadian-Taiwanese young singer Patrick Brasca performed one of the much-awaited animation film series Kung Fu Panda 3 theme song entitled "Try". 

“Try” is a song that encourages everyone to be our own self and just trust and try to be who we are.

Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks Animation CEO said that he personally chose Chou not only because he was a top musician in China but because his style is suitable for the film's concept.

Not only that, Jay Chou dubbed the monkey in the Furious Five team in Chinese version. Jay Chou said in an interview that this is his first time singing for animation series plus dubbing for it.

The Kung Fu Panda 3 album was released officially in stores and online last January 22, 2016 that was produced by Lorne Balfe and Hans Zimmer under Sony Classics. The soundtrack album also includes performances from Asian musicians such as Chinese pianist Lang Lang, Chinese cellist Jian Wang, Wu Man and Guo Gan as well as Cynthia Hsiang and from the Shanghai Roxi Musical Studio Choirs.

Kung Fu Panda 3 started its theatrical run in China earning estimated $16.3 million on its first day only.
