Broadcasting channel SBS issued an apology to the viewers of "Doctors" for killing the realism in the high-rated medical life inspired and romance drama.

According to report, the channel received criticisms from the fans of the show after the leading actress of the drama, Park Shin Hye was shown in her fancy nails.

In some of the comments, viewers complained of showing an unrealistic scene with a doctor wearing a very decorative nail art while on duty.

One Allkpop viewer claimed: "Even if this is just a drama and people usually have certain reserves about that, I still wonder if it's okay for a doctor, and a surgeon at that, to have such extravagant nail art. It's evidence that [her nail art] is keeping me from being absorbed in the drama."

On Wednesday, the SBS extended an apology note promising to not allow same thing to happen in the future. The note read: "We talked about her nails with Park Shin Hye before the drama began. But because they didn't seem too flashy, we weren't able to consider their effects on the drama. We accept the criticism that it took away from the realistic aspect, and will take greater care until the end."

SBS's "Doctors" stars Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won. The drama airs every Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 KST.

On August 10, Park Shin Hye reportedly posted an apology regarding her nail art "Doctors" only to edit the post and then  deleted it entirely from her Instagram.
