They say the family that prays together, stays forever. This is true. And let me tell you that your family should be one of your great source and leads you to pursue your faith in God.

The following are five of the best Bible verses about family and guides a harmonious relationship among the members:

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

This Bible verse is like a line from God telling a mother and father to keep His word and pass these good things to their children. Parents should guide their sons and daughters to lead a faithful and religious way. They should be the role model so children could follow them.

Acts 16:31 "They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household."

If a family member believes, since God is good and merciful, all his family members will be saved.

Proverbs 6:20   "My son, keep your father's command
and do not forsake your mother's teaching."

Children should obey their parents. It is also included on the Ten Commandments.

The following verses are guide to parents in order to raise a child who will follow the path of good. These Bible Verses also shows importance of a parent's guidance in building the faith and character of a child.

Ephesians 6:4  "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."

Proverbs 22:6 "Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
