Christian Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber praised Jesus Christ for Easter Sunday. The artists posted a message on his social media to remind the fans of what the religious holiday is all about.

In an Instagram post, Justin Bieber said that Easter Sunday is not about the bunny. The 24-year-old singer proclaimed Jesus changed him.

"[Easter] is reminder that Jesus died on the cross from my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death," Bieber said. "I am set free from bondage and shame," he added. "He loves me exactly where I am, how I am, for who I am," Bieber went on to say.

The post on Jesus Christ came after Bieber reportedly considering to release a Christian album for his upcoming music comeback. Sources said that the singer is now looking for materials in order to get started on his new album about love and redemption.
