American actor Woody Harrelson recently revealed that he and the United States Vice President Mike Pence were former classmates at the Presbyterian school in Indiana. Both of them attended Hanover College but ended up in different paths.
In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel's late night show, he confessed that he knew the VP and that he is "a very good guy" who was also a religious person.
"I was actually considering being a minister," Harrelson confessed. "And then I just kind of went a different way," he added.
Harrelson recalls that he liked Pence in college but admitted that he doesn't know if they will get along now that they're both older.
In can be recalled that the actor expressed dislike politicians in general as per his interview in 2013. Despite playing roles as politician in several movies, he has an unfavorable view on politics.
"I tend to not like politicians, because it's a subtle form of prostitution," Harrelson said via Details magazine. "It's all synchronized swimming to me. They all kneel and kiss the ring."
