K-pop Couple HyunA and E'Dawn Not Yet Expelled in Cube Entertainment

Korean pop couple HyunA and E'Dawn are reportedly staying at their agency after Cube Entertainment retracted their decision of expelling the two.

Cube Entertainment CEO Shin Dae Nam stopped the expulsion and said that the company will be holding a board meeting next week to discuss the future of the two artists.

"The opinions of the artists are also important, so it needs to be handled carefully," he added.

It can be recalled that on September 13, Thursday, the two is reported to be dropped from the agency. This has caused a huge backlash and caused the company's stock price on the same day and fall at 6.57 percent compared to its price the previous day.

The agency said on Thursday (Sept 13): "Cube Entertainment has decided to remove HyunA and E'Dawn (from the company)." "After much discussion, we found that it is not possible to recover the faith with the two artists HyunA and E'Dawn, so their removal has been decided."

It has been one month since the two admitted that they are a couple. The former 4Minute member wrote in an Instagram post revealing their relationship that has begun in May 2016.

Cube Entertainment initially denied their relationship when the news broke out but then HyunA decided to come clean for their fans, as she said.

HyunA is a famous Kpop star and she has been active as a girl group member of 4Minute from 2009-2016, co-ed Trouble Maker with label mate Hyunseung in 2011 to 2014 and joined Triple H in 2017. Meanwhile, E'Dawn is from Kpop boy group Pentagon which had debuted in 2016.
